The Aiguilles d'Arves are the highest point of the
Arves massif. This summit is made up of three distinct parts:
the Aiguille Méridionale (3,514m above sea level), the Aiguille Centrale (3,513m
and finally the Aiguille Nordtentrionale which we can see
also nicknamed " Cat's Head" (with 3,358 and 3,364m
of altitude).
It is possible to walk in the direction of the Aiguilles
Arves in winter, snowshoeing from the Chalmieu plateau to
Albiez-Montrond. It is also possible to access it in summer, from several
routes, in particular from the Chalmieu plateau to Albiez-Montrond, and
from the hamlet of Entraigues to Saint-Sorlin d'Arves.
In winter, these peaks stand out more against the white of
snow. You can observe them from the Sybelles resorts, but
also from the chalet of the supergiants in Saint François Longchamp, or at the
hot in a chalet, be in discovery snowshoes!
